Summer Reads

Although it is a hectic summer, I still managed to get in some reading time. I’m so glad for that as I discovered two particular authors who wrote page-turners.

The first is Imogen Clark’s novel, The Last Piece. This is such a beautiful story about missed opportunities, family and self. I simply couldn’t put the novel down until the last page. It was that good. That naturally led me to her book, Where the Story Starts, and I loved it. All I’ll say is everyone has a story. 🙂

The other book is Victoria Connelly’s novel, The Book Lovers. I’m only halfway through it, but it’s another page-turner about second changes and unexpected love. I’m totally invested in the story and can’t wait to read the other three in the series.

Now, those are my newly discovered authors’ works. I can’t leave this post until I mention Georgia Tingley’s book, All the Dumb Things. I so enjoyed this story, the scene location and the character’s chemistry was, well, there’s no other way to say it, it sizzled. If you’ve ever chosen the wrong partners, you’ll especially appreciate this gem.

That’s all for now. Be sure to check back as I have more books to recommend once I’m finished them. Enjoy the remainder of your summer!
